As promised we have a lot of update news in store for you all as we work tirelessly to get everything in place for the July opening. I don't know where to begin considering we have got so much done in the last month but I guess I will begin with our staff changes.

As you are all aware we have a new developer, Msrules123 and this month we made our Items and Crafting Plugin much more efficient and implemented several effects

- Items that give off light when you hold it (torches, lamps and such)
- Combat mechanics fully implemented (attacking beyond and below vanilla range)
- Food is now edible and heals players
- Armour slows players down

Below in the screenshots section of this behind the scenes we have some screenshots of food and weapons and we will be creating and balancing armours in the coming weeks leading up to the opening. We have another addition to our team and that is Keepclipse, she is our skin artist and will be crreating many beautiful skins for our NPCs to wear in the future, in the screenshots section are skins for male and female peasants and a hunter.

Builds wise has been going spectacularly well too, everything is on schedule and we finished the mining hamlet and another major semi-village area. The barracks is going to be moved to a standalone location and upgraded to an outpost with more builds, and will be the first contestable area (controller gets the tax take of the Alpine regions) that will be present ingame.

So thats our progress for the previous month, the development goal for June is the creation and balancing of armours, creation of all weapon, armoursmithing, leatherworking and fletching recipes. Creation of World Engine, Citizenry and the associated plugins as well as building our first town, creating vast areas of farmland when we paste in the new area (show in screenshots) and construction of around 10 more hamlets and 20 more locations within the alps including a bandit cave hideout and a bandit outpost/village type area.

As soon as the Citizenry plugin is done we will be adding many quests, balancing shopkeeper NPCs as well as hostile NPCs the player can kill and such. We will be also trialing the several applicants we got for writer positions this month to staff our writing department.

Thanks for the continued support and we hope you enjoyed this month's Behind the Scenes post!
