Geologists have located a rich cache of resouces in the form of salt rocks in a nearby cavern, an expedition has been sent out to clear a path to the deposit and construct mines.
The construction of the mines and the ancillary structures have been completed, but due to the remoteness and difficulty of the location, considerable funds was expended, the taxes on salt has been increased dramatically to plug this shortfall.
Changes:
- Salt Implemented
- Salt Outpost Constructed
- Sell and Buy Penalty for Salt Increased
- New Pickaxe Seller
- New Salt Purchaser at Salt Outpost
The salt merchant is basically paying you for your labour in hauling the salt up to the surface, it is an alternate source of funds for newcomes who do not like fishing.
We will also be implementing a lore related long quest-line to do with the construction of the Salt Mining Outpost, more details to come.
