Due to the increasing amount of work needed to be done such as textures, a huge push to implement new skins and also writers to work on dialogue, designers and balance team to create mobs, drops, shops and pickpocket tables we are going on a huge recruitment drive to hire:

- Writers
- Skin Artists
- Level Designers
- Builders

If you know anyone interested in creating skins, writing lore/NPC dialogue, designing quests, balancing mobs, drops and economy be sure to let them know about us.

Also, due to player request, we have created a Discord where you can reach us at all times, typical reply times if I am not sleeping tends to be within 30 minutes.

Dialogue, Fast Travel and Quests

This is a big month for us, our dialogue engine after over two and a half month's of design and development is finally complete. We have been bug testing and also testing the limits on what the engine can achieve and all have returned with pleasing results.

There are still some polish/quality of life things remaining such as finalizing the dialogue text chat colour (debating between using just default chat colour or using dark grey to differentiate). Adding villager sounds while conversation is going for more immersion and also other various performance improvements and optimizations on the backend.

The first way we tested is a long awaited fast travel system, the system is designed to be cheap enough to use but expensive enough so that it wouldn't be used all the time. The NPC has over 10 pieces of different lore related information, we only showed a few pieces in the video below, the rest you will have to find out yourself!


The next step will be adding dialogue for other existing NPC including humanoid mobs such as Peasants and Militia, After that we will be working on our first ever quest. The quest will be a lore related quest and be quite long, it will be designed to be completed over time, with lots of sub tasks and waiting events. Below is a sneak peek of the NPC that will hold our first ever quest:



We'll be releasing more skins for our NPCs soon, today we implemented monks for the various religious buildings in the world.

We're currently at work on the following locations:

- Hofsteden Open Cast Mine
- Hunting Manor in the Alps
- Outlaw Encampment

Content

We're working on adding mobs, more shops, pickpocketing of shops (require high level) and also the potions system needs to be recoded but once that is ready, Herblore and Herbs will have a use.

Of course we will continue testing the full capabilities of the dialogue engine, adding quests and potentially also ranks this month. Items wise we plan on adding all the leather related and leatherworking related items.

Mobs wise we have already added various hares back to the forest opposite Lauterbrunnen (near waterfall) we have also named the mining settlement Labin and will be adding a ferryman to Lauterbrunnen which is another fast travel option further down the river to the farming village and such.
