Hello everyone,

This past month not much has happened for the following reasons:

- Developers away on leave
- Skin Artists away on leave
- Busy at work
- Updating to 1.12

We apologise for the delays and lack of content, but this month is looking up to be a very productive week content wise. For the past week I have spent the majority of my time bug-fixing and finding new developers to join our team as well as trialing them, unfortunately the first developer we tried out did not want to be tied to a large integrated and complex project so that set us back a couple of days, however he did fix a NPC skin issue for us.

Administrative

Currently we're trialing two new developers, one who is working on more base item types (tipped arrows, coloured potions, fireworks, leather armour and of course our custom paintings). This should be exciting and as soon as this update is finished we will be pasting in one of the lore related characters who is a painter, and you will be able to buy paintings off him.

The second developer undergoing trials is working on the dialogue engine, we hope to have an alpha dialogue system up by next weekend's tour (we will demonstrate an example conversation opened up using a command) so that is looking hopeful.

Skin Artists wise, we've begun an agressive recruitment campaign to get some high quality skinners to work on more icons for our items as well as more NPC and Mob skins.

We're also going to be now using an issue tracker to track issues/features and be setting up "build" versions using our testing server, the benefits of this is better management of the project and also patchnotes can be created easily and be posted monthly.

As always we're always looking for writers and we're going to actively begin searching once again next week when the dialogue engine has a basic working version.

Updates

Here are the updates to expect in the next open weekend:

- 150+ new fletching recipes
- New coals
- New mines
- Outlaw Settlement
- Complete mob, economy and NPC revamp (the one promised since ages ago)
- Potion making

We'll post more news as this month unfolds, for now we're pressed for time sorting out all the remaining 1.12 issues (I fixed our map today for example, which took 3hrs)
